Controller boards

A controller board is an electronic circuit that acts as an interface between the computer and the devices we want to control. 

The basic elements are the microcontroller and the input and output ports.

Sensors

A sensor is a device that detects physical or chemical variables and transforms them into electrical variables.

There are different variables such as temperature, light intensity, acceleration, pressure, etc.

Actuators

An actuator is a device that converts electrical energy into the activation of a process in order to act upon an automated process.

Microcontrollers act on different elements and motors.
